Can I somehow retrieve an un-submitted form that has been saved

If the form was successfully submitted you can review the submission data in the View Submission panel of the form.

But if you were referring to saved session submissions using the feature described in the user guide : -How-to-Save-Forms-and-Continue-Later

 you can review that saved session as long as you have access to the URL link in the email of the save session.
