Populate field data already filled

tenho um campo onde a pessoa vai colocar um número, gostaria de saber se é possivel em um outro envio da mesma pessoa se ela colocar o mesmo número informa que o numero ja foi usado

I recommend you set a unique question to that field. This will prevent duplicate submission using the same value. 

For example, the user fills up your form with this email address (user1@user1.com). Another user or the same user will not be able to submit the form if the same email was entered.
