Why is my form clearing it up itself?

Hi, I have created a form that may take up to an hour or more to be filled out - the form itself is not that time consuming, but it is a test that is being taken in person and takes time to select the correct option. 

Is there anyway to prevent the form from timing out? 

I'm not sure if I understood your question, I have checked your forms and you have not any timer on them, but we have some widgets that will help you having a timer on your form:

Now, once you have added the timer it's not possible to stop it, once it stars it will automatically time out based on the time you have configured.

It’s not the timer - for example, as they have the form open, it takes up to an hour to fill it in. Before they get the chance to fill everything in, they have to refresh before they can submit, and end up losing the data and having to reenter it.

As far as I know, the forms do not time out by default and they do not ask to be reloaded no matter the time the user takes to fill it out. 

Is any error showing up to your users? 

May be possible to have a screenshot of the form before they reload the page? 

Also, please provide us the details about the browser you're using as well as the OS, getting the form's link you're referring to will be helpful as well. 

Now, I would also recommend you to enable the auto-fill feature, in case the users are refreshing the form the data will not be cleared until they click on the submit button: https://www.jotform.com/help/227-How-to-Enable-Auto-Fill-on-Forms

The user was allowing the computer screen to go to saver and then it would automatically submit the form.

Please ask your user to check the browser and/or computer settings, it seems like the browser is saving the page and then reloading when the user activates the computer again.

Please note that as explained above, the form itself is not refreshing automatically, the form as such does not have the ability to control the browser's settings nor the computer settings. Also, if the browser is refreshing you may enable the auto-fill feature as explained above (guide shared before as well).
