On card based forms, there is a save button on the bottom, what about single page form, is there a way to have a save button that emails the user user the link to the form in progress?
I know about the two form solution, but perhaps the save button is available on the single page as well? -

As I understood, your question is related with JotForm “Save and Continue” feature.
To use “Save and Continue” feature in JotForm Cards, please follow the instructions below:
1) Go to “Form Settings”.
2) Click “Show More Options”, find the “Continue Forms Later” section.
3) Select “Enabled”
4) Select “Save & Continue Later”
Also, I hope the below screenshots will help you.
You or the form submitter will be able to both get sharable link or send the URL to any email addresses
If you need any further assistance, please let us know.
Cheers!

My question is about single page forms, not card based forms.

Sorry for the inconvenience. I thought you meant our new layout Single Question in On Page by mentioning single page. If you are asking for one page, please check the user guide by clicking the link below: https://www.jotform.com/help/97-How-to-Save-Forms-and-Continue-Later

Unfortunately not, that feature is only available to card forms. However, its possible to use any of these in the single form layout:
1) You can send an edit link via an auto responder for users to edit a submission later:

2) You can use the save forms and continue later feature ( with the two forms )

3) You can use autofill
