    Hi..

Is it possible to have a search function in a dropdown?

We have a field with considerable (400+) options and wonder if it's possible for the user to search that list and make multiple selections?

    Cheers

    James

You may use the auto-complete widget: https://widgets.jotform.com/widget/autocomp

The user can type on a text box and they will get results related to what they typed in, this guide will help you adding it to your form: https://www.jotform.com/help/252-How-to-Add-a-Widget-to-Your-Form

    I hope this helps.

    Thanks Kevin.

Unfortunately you can only select one answer. We need for users to make several selections at one time. I guess this option doesn't work with the checkbox in dropdown widget?

As far as I understood the idea, I can also suggest to use the Dynamic Dropdowns widget. It has the main functionality of dropdowns to select only from the options available present. Please check the screencast below to see if that is what you need:

Hope this helps! But, if you need further assistance, just let us know.
