Hi There!
Can a JotForm be routed to different recipients for approval? Or sent off to receive a signature?

Yes, this is possible with the use of email alerts, widgets, and conditions. Please check this helpful user guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/432-A-General-Approach-on-Building-an-Approval-Process-Workflow.
If you have any questions, let us know. Thank you.

Is it possible to have a chain reaction of approvers?
For example once Person A approves, the form sends to Person B to approve,

ell, yes- but without getting too in the weeds- I don't know if this
workflow is going to allow me to do what I need to do.
My form in a perfect world would do the following-
Scenario 1-
1) Customer signs and submits the form
-The customer gets a copy of the form (but not any of the subsequent edited
copies)
-A sales assistant gets a copy of the form (but not any of the subsequent
edited copies)
-The sales rep gets a copy of the form (but not any of the subsequent
edited copies)
-The form is sent to manager #1 for edit and approval. (but not any of the
subsequent edited copies)
-The form approved by manager #1 is sent to manager #2 for edit and
approval (but not any of the previous or subsequent edited copies)
-The form approved by manager #2 is sent to manager #3 for edit and
approval (but not any of the previous or subsequent edited copies)
-The form approved by manager #3 is sent to accounting for final receipt(but
not any of the previous or subsequent edited copies)
2) Sales rep fills out form, but has to submit and send off to customer
for signature and approval
-The form is sent to the customer for edit and approval (but not any of the
subsequent edited copies)
-A sales assistant gets a copy of the form (but not any of the subsequent
edited copies)
-The sales rep gets a copy of the form (but not any of the subsequent
edited copies)
-The customer gets a copy of the form (but not any of the subsequent edited
copies)
-The form is sent to manager #1 for edit and approval. (but not any of the
subsequent edited copies)
-The form approved by manager #1 is sent to manager #2 for edit and
approval (but not any of the previous or subsequent edited copies)
-The form approved by manager #2 is sent to manager #3 for edit and
approval (but not any of the previous or subsequent edited copies)
-The form approved by manager #3 is sent to accounting for final receipt(but
not any of the previous or subsequent edited copies)
Where I am running into issues is with email notifications versus
autoresponders and with too many copies of the edited forms being sent to
recipients that don't need them.
Right now I have three checkbox dropdowns indicating the sales rep,
assistant and manager emails that would receive copies of the agreement and
a field that has to be entered with text for the customer email to either
sign for approval or get a copy of the form.
This is the form currently.

If an email is sent conditionally, it will only be sent if the condition is met, even with edits. There would need to be a field or fields in the form that is changed at each step in the approval process and emails set based on that field.
