Recurring payments subscription receipts

    If someone has setup a subscription payment for $20/month for 5 months, Jotform sends out the first confirmation email but what happens at month 2?  Does Jotform send out another confirmation email?

    You must be referring to the SELL SUBSCRIPTIONS type of payment form.

    User guide: How to Setup a Recurring Payment Option

    The confirmation email from the submission of the form will only be triggered once. That is upon the submission of the form and completion of the payment.

    Example, if the user submit the form now and completed the subscription payment, the user will get the confirmation email.

    There will be no email alert or another confirmation email to the user coming from JotForm for the next recurring subscription payments.

    But what you can do instead if you want to send an email receipt or alert to the user for the recurring payments, is to setup the email alert on the payment gateway account you used (i.e. PayPal, Stripe, Square...etc).
