How can I trigger a conditional autoresponder if a recipient does not complete Form 2 using the 'save and resume later' feature?

    Hi folks

I have set up a save and resume later feature.

How can I trigger an autoresponder email to be sent only if the recipient fails to submit Form 2?

Note I am note sure if they are starting Form 2 but not completing it or simply never starting Form 2.

    Hello,

Unfortunately, it is only possible to trigger email alerts if the form is submitted. However, there is an option to send Autoresponder email later in case you want to remind your users that they have not finished filling out Form 2:

    Hello Victoria

I don't need an alert - only an autoresponder..

They are filling in Form 1 but I don't know if they are starting to fill out Form 2 or not.

Do I set up the autoresponder in Form 1? If so everyone will get the message even if they complete Form 2.

Unfortunately, this is not possible. There is no way to trigger an autoresponder from form 1 to remind the user to complete form 2.

If you want to remind users who have not submitted form 2 yet, you can manually do it by getting their email address at the "pending submissions" dashboard: https://www.jotform.com/help/269-How-to-View-Form-Submissions
