Manage form using Excel: is it possible?

    Hello,

My client is asking me to create a dynamic form which will be used by users in order to repeir their phones: they fill in the form with information like screen size, model, problem to solve, time for repair and the user gets an automatic price for the repair.

I know there's a calculation system integrated in the form which I could use to set rules like: "if condition (option in the specific field) is A+B+C > set/show a field with price xxx" is that right?

Another information: my client wants to manage these conditions and prices using excel, would it be possible to manage in some ways the form uploading an excel file which contains prices related to the fields?

Here you can see a preview of the form made by another company using WordPress Gravity Forms and their calculation feature, we would like to make a similar one using Jotform:

    Thanks for your information!

Yes, that is correct, you can use conditional calculations and calculate certain price, after that, you can use that calculated price to show/hide any field in the form: https://www.jotform.com/help/57-Smart-Forms-Using-Conditional-Logic

If you want to somehow involve the Excel information with form, you could use Spreadsheet to Form widget, which allows you to upload the Excel to your form and then based on certain code that you will define, the fields will populate.

    More about that here: https://www.jotform.com/help/442-How-to-Use-the-Spreadsheet-to-Form-Widget

But I suggest you go with calculations if possible since it will be much easier and straightforward for you to set up. You should be able to create the form you provided pretty quickly.

Let us know if you need any further assistance.

    Thank you!

    Hello,

first of all...thanks for reply! I think I need some help to figure out how to set...please if you can check out this form: https://form.jotformeu.com/82395002912351

You can see I set a phone model and a repair action, I want to set different prices based on the model and on the repair request and show the price below.

I set some conditions but they are wrong, I don't really understand how to set them in order to show them below. Feel free to make any change, it's just a form to try this and I will set the right values.

Is it possible for you to set an example condition, like if repair model is iPhone 6 and repair request is broken screen > then show price € 50 and I will add more conditions.

I just need how to set everything in the right way because I'm a bit confused even if I checked the tutorial

    Thanks!
