Get a PDF copy of the DocuSign signed document

We are using Docusign integration - how can we ensure we also get a copy of the PDF that docusign generated (with out logging into their web interface)?

When you fill the DocuSign widget fields (name and email), it'd open a new window with all the fields data prepopulated into the DocuSign document. Once you completed everything in the DocuSign and signed the document, the document you signed will be processed ahead of the form submission (since the form has to be submitted after that). The form needs to be submitted too. On signing the form via the DocuSign, the document will be sent to the owner of the form.

The form is getting submitted but the docusigned version of the form is only going to the person that filled out the form and the docusign website. The PDF that is outputted to the form owner is not docusigned.

The docusign widget has this feature in which a users sign your form, they will receive a PDF Copy.

Unfortunately, there is no option to receive a PDF copy of the signature in the docusign.

However, it would be indicated in the docusign field that the field was signed with the email address of the user.

If you want to receive a signature in the PDF format, you can try to use the e-signature widget.

    Hope this information helps.

Yeah, but the purpose of docusign is that we both have the same legally binding copy.

Sorry, but as much as we want to, the DocuSign app itself doesn't have this feature. You can try other signature widget and see if that meets your needs.

Let us know if you have any questions or if you need further assistance.

Signature widget isn't legally binding. Do you know if the Adobe signature integration is any better?

I believe it's much better as it has the "Activate Signer Flow" option that will send to both the owner and the sender.

Please try that out and let us know if that works for you. Looking forward for your response.

That would be great. I just advocated the adobe sign trial and it won’t integrate. I hit the authenticate button and sign in, which then brings me to the adobe dashboard in the pop-out window.

If you are having problems authenticating to Adobe Sign, please try using the Private Mode (Incognito) of your browser.

The authentication should ask for login credentials again.

Then check Activate Signer Flow in the widget for it to work.

Please give it a try and let us know how it goes.

I was able to authenticate it (using IE) but now it looks like the PDF change AND more importantly that the auto submit on sign is no longer an option.

FYI and when I saw the PDF was changed – what is being sent to Adobe sign doesn’t contain ALL fields – just the filled out fields.

Sorry for all the emails – I really want to get this done. I went back to Docusign.
    · Also, since we need the approval status I am hiding the docusign based on the EDIT field – when we go to the approval I get the error “There are errors on the form. Please fix them before continuing.”

I have tested your form and it seems that you have enabled required for your docu sign

Get a PDF copy of the DocuSign signed document Image 1 Screenshot 30

and when you edit the form, you need to have an input in docu sign to  be able to submit your form.

Kindly disable required in your docusign widget and use conditions instead.

We will use your Get Form Page URL and the require condition to set your docusign required when the form is not edited.

Please give it a try and let us know if the issue still remains.

    Thank you.
