PDF editor: Is it possible to conditionally hide image/text elements on PDF same as they are hidden on the form?

Hello again, How can we generate the pdf that corresponds to our conditional formulas? In our case, the form to fill in is different if a field of the form is: Provisional, Return or Departure. Fields are hidden according to this state. But the pdf never fits ... Do you have a solution? Thank you.

While editing the submission PDF, there is an option to hide empty fields in the output:

If this is enabled, any field that isn't filled in the form will be hidden in the PDF.

    Hello,

Thank you for your reply. But it does not work ... The pdf does not take into account the conditions of the form. In our form, we have 3 fields: Provisional, departure or return. Following these fields we display with contidions of other fields. The pdf should display the same fields as the form according to the conditions ... But it does not work...

As suggested by my colleague, with option to hide empty fields checked, PDF template should not show fields that were not filled out. I see there're not much statements under your form, so it should work without issues.

I can suggest to try following options:

    1. To set clearing conditional fields via form settings to 'Clear on Being Hidden'. This is to ensure that conditional logic would work correctly in case user will change their mind and go back to pick another option:

    2. To reset PDF template so it captured form fields correctly. To reset the template to default one, please create a new PDF document and delete old one:

    3. There is also an option to create multiple PDF templates and send them based on a condition, here is a guide: How-to-Email-Different-PDF-Document-Templates-Based-on-Users-Answers

Hope this helps! But, please get back to us if you need further assistance.

Hello, unfortunately it does not work ... I tried everything you told me but the new pdf does not match the form. Are the hidden text fields problematic?
Another subject: we want to insert general conditions of rent, written in very small. The photo or the inserted pdf is not readable in the end. It is possible to insert a text, but it seems impossible to delete the spaces between the lines and to write in size smaller than "8". Can we write in Arial "6" format with text without spaces between lines?

I see now that you refer to image and text elements of the form. Header/image/text will be hidden on the form if condition is met. But, at PDF editor, images and texts are constant elements. If you need to show different texts/images on PDF, the only option would be to create multiple PDF templates with different texts/images and send them to users conditionally.

I am submitting a feature requests to apply conditional logic to text/image elements within PDF editor, but we can not promise a time frame on when/if this will be added.
