    Hi Everyone,

I need to sell 3 things and dealing with some people that can't pay online.  So i create a choice... "Pay online via PayPal" or "Mail a check" and then shoe/hide the necessary options.

Found the PayPal Standard widget that works great!  Create the three items, allow peole to select the quatntiy of each, calcuates the item total, grand total and I offer a coupon that may give $50 off if they spend $250!  YAY!!!  When they click submit, it takes them to paypal, process cc and we are good to go!

Need to do the same thing if they click "Mail a check".   Just found the PURCHASE ORDER widget that looks and works exactly like the PayPal widget but doesnt go to paypal, just saves the data like a form, yay!!!

Howerver, the PURCHASE ORDER widget is a PAYMENT widget and you cannot have BOTH on the same form, even though only one of them is acutally processing a payment and the other is fake.

SO, I need to keep the PayPal widget, but is there another widget that would do what the PURCHASE ORDER widget does so it can calcuate everhing and save it on a submit?  Or does somone have at trick to have both on one form.

    Thanks!!!!!!!!

Unfortunately, having two payment fields is not possible. We have a guide that explains a way around this, please check it here: https://www.jotform.com/help/120-How-to-Set-up-PayPal-Along-with-Other-Payment-Options

    Hi David,

Thank you for your response!  I found the same link you sent and it provides a way to not use PayPal and hide it.

However, I need a method to be able to choose a quantity, calcualte line item totals, overall total, apply a discount, etc.  Do all the calculations like a purchase but not process any payment, just save the selections.

The Purchase Order is perfect but since it's clasified as a payment gateway, it can't be aded to the same from.  BUT... it is not a payment gateway (even indicates in the info) so really should not be bundled into the payment section.  I should just be a typical widget and even be able to add multiple ones to a form.

Was hoping there is a standard widget that does what Purchase Order does and i just can't find it.

I tried using individual fields, drop down boxes, form calculator field, conditional fields to make something and it took way to many pieces, was scattered, could not get items to line up well, and looked horrible.

How does one get in touch with the developer of the Purchase Order widget to get them to realize that it's miss classified and try and get that corrected?

    Thanks!!!!!!!!!

Purchase order is not misclassified. It uses the same setup as other payment options that is why it is categorized in payments. Currently, the only workaround is creating two separate forms like what is shown in the guide provided by my colleague.

If you want to submit a feature request, you can create a separate thread and title it with "Create a purchase order widget" or similar to that.
