Email reminder: Link in reminder email returns 404 error.

    Hi,

    I have set up a reminder email to go to my team on the weekly tracker form in my account.  The link (which is system generated) does not work. 

     

    Can you please help ASAP?

    The email is supposed to send the form URL, the same as the one given by the publish wizard which I have tested and works correctly: https://www.jotform.us/form/90035961912153 

    May we get more details about the issue or the error message your users are getting? 

    Please kindly provide us a screenshot of the error or message they are getting and also share us the link they are getting.

    The form is called Weekly Activity Report.  I am attaching a copy of the reminder email and the error message.  Thanks!

    Thanks for the response. I was able to see the error. Since there's no way to change the button link, let me forward this to our L2 team to check on why the link is not accessible.

    We'll let you know here if there's an update.

    @katykelly15,

    It looks like the custom URL for the form has now removed which could be causing the issue. Could you try enabling the custom URL for the form and make sure that the URL is in the same as the link in the email? This should help in activating the link provided in the reminder email.

    I am unable to change that. Please see the attached screenshot. my account name in the link is not editable. Only the darker text at the end is able to be edited.1551869786Screen Shot 2019 03 06 at 5 Screenshot 10

    I see that you've successfully changed the custom URL of your form, therefore this link (https://form.jotform.com/katykelly15/weekly-activity-report) is now functional.

    Please note that you can only edit the darker text part of your form's custom URL, in order to change your account name on the custom URL's, you have to change your account name.

    Also whenever you change your form's URL (custom or direct URL) you need to schedule a new reminder email, otherwise the email can be sent with the old URL you've specified.

    Now, as you've changed your form's URL back to the custom URL you've previously set, the link on your reminder emails will work.
