Users re-call data for future form completion?

    I've got this form: https://eu.jotform.com/leem2209/hilltop-booking-form


    And what I want is if someone re-books again, they don;t have to go through the complete process again, their data is recalled and they can change only the necessary fields.


    I've got the "save data in browser" turned on, but if people clean up PC that is lost so only effective for the short term.


    I don't really want to use the "save and continue later" as people aren't aware of the feature so it doesn't automatically save.


    What's my options?

    Hi @leem2209,

    Thank you for reaching out. The two possible options at the moment are to use the Enable Auto Fill on Forms or Users Update Their Form Submissions at a Later Date I believe both of these forms can assist you with what you are looking for.

    Hi ZuriTapia, thank you for your response...


    I already have the AutoFill turned on but that is only effective short term and only saved the data for 24 hours after submission.


    As for the Update Their Form Submissions at a Later Date that would kinda work, but would require them to get their old email and edit the link when they want to re-book.


    Currently the process is people phone up to check the dates and provisionally book in. They cannot properly book in until they've completed the form so the Cattery send out a link to the form to complete.


    Is there a way that we can send the {edit form} as a generic link that would work for any client? (If that makes sense? - my client isn't computer savvy so asking her to send out unique links would be dangerous!)

    You can also send the Autoresponder email with edit link to the users mobile instead of email.

    Did you mean instead of sending the dedicated to each user through email, you want to send a generic link to everyone? Unfortunately, it is not possible to send the same edit link to every user.

    For now, apart from the edit submission the only features that are available are Auto Fill and Save & Continue Later.
