How to link 2 forms and pre-populate the second form from the first form

i think i understand the logic , but will this work for me, a shop with multiple orders,

i want the sales man to place the order then the buyer receives the repopulated form and updates it

it looks like the second form will always link to the most recent first form.

i need to be able to access the 2nd form from a link in the first form submission.

Yes, this is possible. Please follow this guide: How-to-Automatically-Pass-Form-Data-to-Another-Form to set up two identical forms. Have your salesperson fill out the necessary portions of the first form and Submit the form. An autoresponder email containing the pre-populated URL to the second form will be sent to your customer, who will finish filling out the form.
