Could you please advise what kind of addendum you would like to insert in your form?

information. I would like to be able to add an addendum for the correction
so that the original submission is able to still be seen and unchanged (due
to fields being read only after submission)

It's possible to edit a submitted form. We have a detailed help guide that explains how to edit a submitted form: https://www.jotform.com/help/325-How-to-Edit-Submissions-Made-on-Your-Forms
You may also include edit link on your email notification so it's even easier to access the edit submission page. By default, it's already present on the email notification at the bottom of your email.
