Conditional logic: Newly added conditions disappear when a page is reloaded

    Hi JotForm team,

I'm having an issue with the linked form. Each time I add new conditions and refresh the page, the newly added conditions disappear. This is the only form (that I'm aware of) having this issue now, though other forms have had the same issue previously but resolved themselves after a day passed.

    Please advise!

    Thank you!

Sorry for the inconvenience this may have caused you.

I cloned your form and made several tests, but I was not able to replicate the exact same issue you reported. On my cloned form I am unable to add a new condition. The "Save" button is not working. Also, after I go back all previously set conditions are removed.

I can only add a new condition if I previously save one of the existing conditions. This way the newly added conditions are properly saved and the old conditions are not deleted.

I will report this issue to our developers. We will inform you via this thread once this issue is resolved.

For now, please try to re-save one of the existing conditions before adding a new one.

Thank you, BJoanna. I tried your suggested workaround but it appears even saving the existing condition is not activating the ability to save new conditions.

I am now having another issue - it appears all the conditions have disappeared from my other forms. I appreciate your assistance!

Hi! Our apologies for the difficulties. I see your account is on a free plan and you have multiple email conditions. Multiple emails feature is offered to paid users only, so that may be the reason of a problem.

Can you tell us what condition you would like to create for this form https://form.jotform.com/91912594343158 ? It seems that conditions work on your form when I create from my end, so if you provide some exact requirements, we can set up conditions while ticket is being worked on. Alternatively, you can try deleting email conditions on one of forms to see if this will resolve the problem.

    Hi,

Excuse the delayed response on my end and the blank comment. It was from another account.

Thanks for fixing the form linked above. I just checked it and all of the conditions re-appeared; however, two other forms have lost all of their conditions as well. I tried reverting them, but when I add new conditions, the previous conditional logic gets erased. The links are as follows:

    Form #1:

    https://www.jotform.com/build/91915054455156/settings/conditions

    Form #2:

    Thanks for your help.

    Hello,

As I check forms you have linked, I see no conditions there. Can we try creating conditions directly in your form to check the issue since I am not able to replicate problem on a cloned form? What type of conditions were you creating when problem took place?

We will wait for your reply.

    Absolutely.

The bulk of the conditions on both forms were mainly show/hide conditional fields that revealed options/ selections based on the responses in the form.

The last conditions added on the forms were email-based. The forms will occassionally need to be signed by two people; however, the signatures need to be obtained individually. When the form is sent to the first client, I receive an alert. After the first client signs the form, it gets emailed to the second client, unless they share the same email.

The first issue was that the email never reached the second client after the first client submitted the signed form. The conditions erased everytime I updated the email-based conditions to identify the issue.

    Hello,

I cloned your form too to run a test on my end but I'm unable to replicate the issue. I was able to set conditions to show/hide fields and set email conditions too, then reload the form and it still shows that the conditions are successfully saved and were not removed.

The backend team still working on the escalated ticket by my colleague. But, may you please try to set 2-3 conditions again on your end, then let us do know the results.

Thank you for your patience in this matter.

    Hello,

Free/guest accounts are limited with 3 email-based conditions.

Because of this reason, the conditional emails you were adding was being removed after you refresh the page.

In order to set more conditional emails, you can upgrade your account.

    Thanks.
