Monday.com integration - field not coming over...?

    Hello,

I just setup my Monday.com integration.

I am having an issue with not being able to integrate the field for the total of the purchase. I am using Stripe with JotForm and I would like the total amount to be sent to Monday.com in a field. What would be even better is the ability to send over what products were chosen with prices and then the total. Is there a way to do this?

    Thank you, Dave

    Hi Dave,

I have inspected the integration that you set up, and I saw that you haven't included the payment field reason why it's not being sent to monday.com:

Unfortunately, we cannot add the payment field into the integration. It seems that only text, email and contact number fields are allowed to be added.

But let me conduct a few more test and see if I could look for a possible workaround. I will get back to you on this thread shortly.

    Hi again Dave,

I was able to make a workaround on how we can send your products and payment data to monday.com. Though it's a bit tedious, I am sure that this can achieve the requirement. So, here's what I came up with:

First, we need to use Multiple Choice field for your products instead of creating it inside Stripe. We'll assign calculation values to each of the options:

Add a duplicate copy of this field but don't assign calculation values to it. Set it to hidden:

Now, we'll add a condition that when the user chooses a product from the first multiple choice field, the duplicate will copy the selected option. Here's the condition:

Next is to add a Short Text entry field. We will pass the value of the duplicated Multiple Choice to this field. Why? This field will contain the Product name that the user chose then will add it to the monday.com integration later.

I also set it to hidden so every transaction is going on in the background. Here's the condition that passes the value of the duplicated field to the Text field:

Now, we'll add a Number field which will contain the sum of the products selected. This is also set to hidden.

    Here's the condition for that:

And lastly, we'll add a Form calculation widget that will pass the calculated value of the price to Stripe. I never planned to add this field but this is the only field that can pass a value to a payment field. This is also set to hidden:

Then map this field to Stripe:

And that's it. So basically, the fields that you can add on your monday.com integration are the following:

Duplicated Multiple Choice field - Contains the Product names

Total Fee - Contains the total price

I cloned your form to implement this workaround. Feel free to clone and inspect it:
