Question about adding form to shopify

2nd question. i'm using a shopify store setup. and the front page of shopify doesn't really have anywhere to EASILY add a form. I'd rather have the form i built

permanently on the website, in a narrow collumn on the right. maybe even fixed and then the front page of website scrolls under it, or they can 'x' out of it on the right if they don't want to ill it out, or bring it back if they do want to fill it out.

i know that i can edit the Theme.liquid in shopify, but i'm not positive if any of the embedded code options would achieve what i am looking for? Can you help?

as of tonight. i put the code in my liquid.theme so i could have the button on the left center of the site, and it is also on an actual Request Quote 'page' as well.

but i'm losing leads, because my new shopify site doesn't have the quote form on the landing page as soon as they hit it.

You can create a quote form here in jotform and embed it to your Shopify webpage.

You can embed the form as Pop-up, Feedback button, or Lightbox. Please check the guides below and see what will fit to your requirements.

That doesn't answer my question unfortunately.

i'd like it on my HOME page on shopify, and the theme edit for homepage doesn't support inserting html codes.

i'd rather it already be part of the home page. instead of the floating feedback button.

Just to clarify, you want to add the form to your Home Page (Shopify) but Shopify Home Page doesn't support adding form embedding code. Is that correct?

Could you please share the Shopify home page link so we can check it further?

Right now I have your floating feedback button, and I embedded it to an
    actual page, called Request Quote.
I added a hidden text field to the form. The question is called gclid
I'm trying to collect the unique google click id from my advertising.. So I
can use to report sales back to google and optomize keywords. This is
    different than just google analytics.
It is working on the floating form, but the one embedded on the page isn't
working. Once the visitor clicks anywhere on my site, the info collected

Could you please provide more information on what exactly is not working? Could you please confirm, why you added the short text entry field gclid? The field is hidden in the form and there is no condition set. You are also not populating the field.

I was given instructions that if I added that field, called it gclid and
then hid it. It would populate or 'capture' the visitors url with the
    gclid inside.
But when I tested it, it only worked if that was the first thing I touched
upon landing on the site, and of course.. That will not be the case in
nearly all the traffic that arrives. People wander first. Then might fill
    out a quote form.
I felt like something was missing. Some coding in the background to capture
the gclid and add it to the form that is emailed to me ..

Unfortunately, we cannot assist you with GCLID. We only support JotForm related issues. You can try our own GET URL PAGE widget. For more information, please

    https://www.jotform.com/widgets/get-form-page-url

Please try it and let us know if that's not what you're looking for.

I have that enabled on the form. It doesnt capture gclid.
I left another form company because my brother that loves jotform said the
gclid field works on his form. He uses at requestlegalhelp.com
He has massive amounts of traffic.
Bummer. Was hoping you guys were the solution.

    Sorry for the confusion.

We can help you but I am just saying we need more information about the added GCLID on your form.

You can also try to use this widget that the same with GCLID. Here's the link: https://www.jotform.com/widgets/get-referrer
