It works when you pay via pay pal but when you use a credit card it says there is a misconfiguration.

So I just tried making a test submission to your form using a test credit card, and it shows me this error:

PayPal Checkout: Unable to connect to the PayPal checkout Image 10

If this is the same error you're receiving when you tried paying via Credit Card, the problem is most likely related to your PayPal Pro merchant account configuration.

You can check the error code information on this page: https://developer.paypal.com/docs/classic/api/errors/#10500-to-10599

Please make sure that your PayPal account is ready to accept PayPal Payment Pro transactions. You might consider contacting PayPal Support to get assistance in this case.

Please note that the integration requires a paid PayPal Website Payments Pro subscription in order to use this gateway. Please use the regular PayPal Standard Integration otherwise.

So how can I get the Pay Pal Standard to work?  I would love to talk to a live person instead of this method of support.  970-775-3110  I really need to get this up and running for people to make donations.  We will not be paying more for Pay Pal Pro because we are a non-profit.

Sorry, but we not offer phone support except for JotForm Enterprise subscribers.

Please note that this support forum is our primary mode of communication. However, we are here to help you out.

Please check this guide to integrate PayPal Standard into your form: https://www.jotform.com/help/391-How-to-Integrate-Form-with-Paypal-Standard-

You will need to delete the existing PayPal Pro payment field, so that you can add PayPal Standard into the form. When you delete, please do not worry about the added products. When you add the PayPal Standard field, these products will automatically populate so that you do not need to re-create them.

Please test and let us know.

We've managed to go back to where this thread started.  Standard is not connecting properly :-(

Our apologies for the issues and inconvenience. We are aware of the situation and have already alerted our backend team about it. We have been informed that the issue occurs on PayPal's side so we have coordinated this to them already.

We will let you know here once we have an update on this.

In the meantime, you can use PayPal Pro integration: How-to-Integrate-Form-with-Paypal-Pro

    Thanks.

Thanks so much Roneet.  Will I be notified here when the fix is pushed through?  How long does this fix usually take?

Could you please try connecting the PayPal Checkout once again?

The PayPal team is working on a permanent resolution in order to connect to the PayPal Checkout. Until this issue is solved our developers have provided a temporary solution, we changed our code to connect PayPal via "Client ID" and "Secret" instead of PayPal Connection Button. You may see the new fields in the screenshot below.

Please try this out and let us know the update.
