Order all form submission by custom field

When I view forms they are listed by input NAME, but when I need to access a form I always need to find it by another input. In this case I am looking for input named LOT (address number), is there a way to change what input is listed when I view submissions. Does it just list them by default as the first input on the form? Thanks

Greetings and thank you for your message.

Can you please confirm, do you wish to order submissions?

Form submissions are ordered by the newest by default.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to order them by other form fields.

As an alternative, you can download your data to an Excel file and sort the data there. You can also create a Google Spreadsheet integration where all new submissions will be added automatically. Then you are able to sort the data to your desires.

You can click here to see how to add a Google Spreadsheet integration.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions.

I’m not sure if I need to rider the forms. Basically I have 20ish lines to fill in. Every form I fill in sorts by the NAME field. But when I look for a form I need to find it by the LOT field. I don’t even need to worry about sorting, just display. If I am looking for a LOT number then I have to open each form individually until I find the correct one. If I could see the LOT input the I could just scroll through the list until I find the right one.

    Thank you for your reply.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to choose what fields are shown in all submissions. By default, a Name field will be used. If that one doesn't exist or is not filled, an email field is shown. Finally, if none of those two are found, a first short text filed will be displayed.

A workaround for that would be you replace name and email fields with a short text fields and make sure the LOT field is at the top. This way the LOT number will be shown.

Please let us know if you have any additional questions.
