How can i make my form users to edit their application later - without entering already entered data again

How can i make my form users to edit their application later - without entering already entered data again - Can i make them to do that by entering some key fields (but the data is going into a google sheet) -There is a "edit application" hyperlink in my associated google sheet of the form - what is the use (I hope it is only for the form owners - nothing to do with persons who submit them, I guess??)

 I don't want them to edit on time of submission (such as putting edit link in Autoresponder email). - I am having an option for them to "pay later" - so if they decide to do that option later (say after 2 days) then i want them to autopopulate their previous entry they made 2 days before
