I am curious how JotForm hosts data when customers use this service? Is the form data then residing on your hosts and if so where is this data stored (even in terms of replica's of the form data)? I notice you corporate presence is global.
I am trying to ascertain if it is legally compliant with our agency to utilize your service.
Thank you for your assistance in this matter, it is of the highest importance.
Best regards,
Jesse

Hello Jesse! JotForm does store data on its servers.
JotForm servers are co-located in a cloud based architecture with Google Cloud and Amazon Web Services (AWS). Google Cloud data centers are hosted in Iowa (US). AWS data centers are located both in Germany, Frankfurt (EU) and US, Virginia (US).

We store data in the US but there is also an option to store data only on the EU servers.
You can find more information about this here: https://www.jotform.com/help/871-How-to-Store-Your-Data-on-EU-ServersIf you have any further queries, feel free to write back to us.
Thank you!

It does say in our security that we replicate data from Google Cloud server to our AWS server but we don't mix EU data with US data due to GDRP as we are GDPR compliant.

Hope this information helps.
If you have further questions, let us know.

Jesse LyonReplied on August 28, 2020 at 5:28 PMDo I understand you to unequivocally be stating any information collected from a form using your service in the United States will not be replicated to hardware outside our borders?
Sorry to want an explicit statement but we need this assurance.

Jesse

Hello
JotForm is compliant with GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation), which mean that any EU based form will not have its submissions data available in US based datacenters.
Security: EU Safe FormsYour forms and submissions are, as they have always been, secure. If you need an extra level of security, however, we recommend using form Encrypted Forms. For instructions, kindly refer to this documentation:
Blog Post: Encrypted-Forms
I hope that was helpful. Let us know if you need any further assistance. -
Jesse LyonReplied on August 29, 2020 at 1:28 AMYou are speaking of EU data not available in US - that is not my question. Is US data replicated to data Centers outside the US. Please answer this question - do not change the question to match your answer.

The data centers would exchange their data one with another to offer the fastest response times over the load balancing.
If you are logging in from the US then your form data will be stored and available on our US servers while a backup will most likely exist on the other data centers as well.
But to confirm, Iet me raise this to someone with a higher level of access. We shall keep you posted here once we heard back from them.
