Is it possible to create a form, map the form elemets to a PDF, and then use that as a template?
For example, if we wanted to make two seperate forms with everything mapped to the PDF, could ew then combine the two forms with all the 'mapped' elements on their respective PDFs?
I hope that makes sense. If its possible, or there is a work around, that would be amazing

Hi there,
Happy to help!
You could certainly create a form and then use our PDF Editor to create and export the form as a PDF.
Guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/212-how-to-create-a-pdf-form
From that PDF, you could use it to create Smart PDF Forms and clone them as needed within your account.
For example, I've created a simple demo form here: https://form.jotform.com/203457365969066
We can create the PDF in the PDF Editor without having received any submissions. First, I added several basic form fields to the form. Next, whilst in the Form Builder, I'll navigate to the PDF Editor:
In the PDF Editor, you can add form fields and basic elements to the PDF and design it how you'd like it:
You can also create as many New PDF Documents and New PDF Forms as you'd like:
In regards to your question about merging two forms, I would suggest using our Field Manager App to combine the two: you could then use the PDF Editor as proposed above to create two separate PDFs.
I hope this helps! Please let us know if we can assist further.
