How to auto populate data from a search?

I have a jotform I created and it submits entered data to my submission table. I want to add a search on this form, where the user can select from the data results from my submission table, and autofill First Name, Last Name, Date of Birth, and Phone Number fields on the form. It should only autofill the data when selected. How do you do this?

    Hello,

To my understanding, you would like to auto-populate a form using a spreadsheet or from existing data. You may check the Spreadsheet to Form widget that will let you upload the existing data or records via in an excel format. Please refer to these guides:

I hope this helps. Let us know if you need further assistance.

I need to pull the data from a previous entry on the submission log for the same form.

    Hello!

    - I need to pull the data from a previous entry on the submission log for the same form.

This isn't possible. The autofill functionality provided by the "Spreadsheet to Form" widget can only pick data from the uploaded Excel file. There is no way to pick data from submissions and then populate the form with that data.

As a workaround, you can export your submissions data as an Excel file and then upload it in the "SpreadSheet to Form" widget; this way, your submissions data will be used. But you may have to keep on uploading the data file at regular basis.

    I hope this helps.

    Thank you!
