How can I make the placeholder product amount $0 when no product is selected?

    Hello:

I am using the bakery form template. I have a product with special pricing. When looking at the product listings, I cannot get this $345.00 price to disappear next to the product name. When I try to edit, it's not possible since special pricing is enabled. Two screenshots are attached below. The subtotals and total seem to be working properly, but it is very misleading to have this pricing text next to the product title.

    Hi,

    Apologies for the inconvenience.

It seems that the only way to replace or remove the price next to the product name is to remove first the Quantity Selector option on the product.

Because the Special pricing property in "Quantity" overwrites the product main price and it also prevents you from changing or removing it from the Product Settings then click on Save Product. Then you can change or remove the price of the main product:

Then set up again the special pricing options on the Quantity Selector option, then save the changes too.

Kindly give it a try and let us know if the issue persists. Thank you.

    Hello,
Thank you for the information. I understand your suggestion and tried it.
My concern is the text now says FREE until an amount is selected, then it
adjusts to the proper total. Is there a way for it to simply be blank?
If not, is their another form solution where I can use special pricing and
subtotals WITHOUT the misleading price for 1 unit already pre-populated on
the form? I tried another form first, but it looks busy and can be
confusing to have all the prices for a single unit listed in the column
above the total (even when not selected).
    Thank you.

Unfortunately, if you put 0 it automatically converts it "Free" as what you have already observed. There's option to show the 0 value without showing the text "Free". If you want, you can create a custom payment so you will have a full control over the labels to show your customers.
