I redid my multiple choice checklist and I still can't add text behind the checkbox. You suggested I could in a previous answer to this same problem. I need the user to be able to add their own text behind the checkbox. How can I accomplish this? I want the checkbox and then they add their own text. So basically I need a checkbox like in multiple choice and a short answer field for them to type in after they check the box.

    Hi,

With the multiplce-choice field, you can add one field that the user can fill in theirself:

This will allow the user to write their own text to the choice.

If you want to create more fields for the user to write freely than just one, I would suggest using a Configurable List Widget instead, as it will allow you to enter multiple text-entry fields.
Please refer to our guide on how to set up the widget: How-to-set-up-the-configurable-list-widget
