Required resposne

How can I make the fields required other than going back like by line and making it required to go to next response? I have multiple forms and when they don’t answer a question - I don’t necessarily know that they’ve skipped something when I print it out. It is just a missing field - not an empty field. I’d like to make all of the questions madatory respond but need to do for whole forms, not line by line

What do you mean by not line by line?

You can enable the Required feature of all the form fields on the Properties section or by following this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/546-how-to-set-a-field-as-required-or-non-required

so, basically I have to go through each form and each question has a setting that has to be changed to make the answered required.  I didn't know if there was a way to make the default that ALL responses are required, not the opposite.

Yes, you need to open your form and set the form field to required. You can also try this method, open the form. Right-click the form page and select Manage Multiple Fields then click the Select All button. After that, click the Require button.
