The stripe integration that I have allows payments to be processed without a correct security code

The stripe integration that I have allows payments to be processed without a correct security code is this standard or is there an option to require a correct security code to be entered? I know this because I accidentally typed the wrong code and the form was submitted and the payment has gone through.

    Hi there,

Thanks for reaching out to us!

I'm not sure what you mean by security code for payment forms. Please elaborate.

When respondents visit your payment form integrated with Stripe, they will be able to select desired products and provide their card details as shown below.

We would be so much grateful if you could just further elaborate and provide more information, so that we can better assist you.

Security code is the 3 digit number entered in the field called Security Code.

    Hello @CIL_Forms,

Yes, it is quite obvious that the Security Code is included in the payment field. Our apologies for the confusion.

After checking your account, I found that you currently have many active forms and I am not sure which one is causing this problem. I reviewed your form titled BEEF Ticksheet, but it seems this form is not integrated with the Stripe integration.

Can you please share the URL of the form in question?

Also, could you possibly make another test submission on your form and include an incorrect security code to see if the same issue persists. We do also ask that you share a screenshot or a screen recording of this issue so that we can see it firsthand.

Another option is for you to insert a product into your form that is worth $0.01 so that we can process a test payment on our end.

We look forward to your response.

Hi, thanks for your response, I presume from your answer that you are saying that the stripe integration is functioning incorrectly in our form and that it should not process payments where a cvc security code has been entered incorrectly? Is that right ?

P.S. We do not have a form called BEEF Ticksheet so I don't know where you got that from?

    Hello @CIL_Forms,

My apologies for the confusion, it seems I took a look at a form that actually belongs to another account. That is my mistake.

However, as I mentioned in my last response, we still are not aware of which form is causing this error on your account. Please share the form URL so we can take a closer look.

Also, since we have not had the chance to troubleshoot your form, I cannot guarantee that the Stripe integration is working incorrectly. That is why we asked if you could run another test on the form and use an incorrect security code. Have you done so?

If not, please do run another test submission and share any screenshots you can of the issue that is occurring. This way we have evidence we can share with our developers if the issue needs to be escalated.

You can also follow the other instruction I gave and add a product to your form with the price of $0.01 so that we can process a live payment on your form and test if the security code is allowing incorrect codes.
