Approval Workflow: How do I send the Smart PDF using the approval workflow?

Hello,

I am wondering if there is a way to add approve and sign data from an approval workflow into a smart PDF that we have. The smart pdf has approval and signature lines one it for admin to use but I have not been able to find a way to utilize the approval workflow, approve and sign and put that sign and approve into the pdf itself.

You can attach the Fillable PDF in the approval email or the Approve and sign element.

Correct but there is no way to get the signature of the admin onto the PDF
itself.

Pre-approval/signature there is no way to have it attached to the PDF, but when the approver signs it, it should update the PDF with the signature.

Are you not seeing it attached once the approval flow has been completed?

So we have a PDF form for fundraising approvals. The form is filled out by
community members and then comes back to us to be approved by an admin. On
the PDF form itself there is a place for the admin to sign and check they
have approved it. I was/am looking for a way to utilize the approval
workflow to have the admin digitally sign and approve, which I can do.
However, when they do that sign and approve the signature and the approval
does not get added to the original PDF. The only way I have found to add a
signature of the admin approval is to do it by the admin editing the
submission and completing form fields within the form itself and then
submitting it again. The problem with that is it would leave the digital
approval workflow unusable at that point!
It would be fantastic to be able to use the electronic workflow, have a
sign and approve and then that signature and the approval can be added to
the pdf itself. otherwise the PDF looks incomplete even though the approval
has been finished.

Unfortunately, it is not possible to map the signature on the Fillable PDF but you would be able to get the details on the PDF Document this way:
