Sending email to record directly from Jotform

    Hello,

We like the features in Jotform that allow us to send an email to the client using a 'button'; unfortunately, our clients are not seeing them or recognizing them as from us because of the sender to them in jotform. It would be of great advantage if you could program a feature in the button to allow us to put a sending email address that has been verified in our account. Seems like that would be a fairly easy thing to do as you have our auto responses programed that way.

    Thank you for your consideration.

    Hello!

This is actually already possible - it requires the usage of a custom sender email:

How to Set up SMTP for a Form

The custom sender email feature allows you to have all the Jotform emails sent from your own email address instead of the default Jotform one.

All you have to do is set it up as described in the guide above, then set it as the Sender Email of the email you're sending with the button:

The email will then be sent from your own email address instead of noreply@jotform.com.

    Hopefully, that suits your needs,

    Thank you!

Thank you for your response. I have emails that would need to go from different accounts. Is there a way to do that?

    Hello!

Yes, it is possible to set up multiple custom sender emails and set each email to a different one.

After adding your custom sender you can add another one by clicking Edit then Add Sender Email:

All those emails will be available to choose from in the email's Advanced settings.

    Thank you!

I don't think i'm communicating. What I'm asking about is one of the new features in Tables that allows us to add a column that is a button...and allows us to send emails from tables. These are being sent from jotform. I need a way to tell the button which email to send from, just as we have in our auto-responses.

    Hi there,

Unfortunately, you can only set one email per column that you have set to send it from. What I can suggest is to make multiple columns that will set each email that you can send from.

Please note that you would need to create an autoresponder for each email that you will use to send it from.

    I hope this helps.

Let us know if you have any questions.
