    Greetings I've noticed my jotdown form is not populating in Salesforce? We've added some checkboxes which has caused the population to stop working. Please help.

    Hi,

    Sometimes when you update a form, it breaks certain integrations.  My suggestion would be to disconnect the Salesforce integration, clear your forms cache, then reconnect the integration.  Here is our guide on how to clear your forms cache:

    http://www.jotform.com/help/229-How-to-Clear-your-Form-Cache

    Please let us know if this does not resolve your issue and we will be happy to look into it further.

    Thank you for using Jotform!

    @medhaniehabte

    From where did you map the checkbox fields? Is it also a checkbox field from your SalesForce fields? You may try mapping your checkbox field from your form to a textbox field from your SalesForce instead, this would work. To do this, you have to redo the integration.

    We have already added support for checkbox fields to be map on a textbox field from SF. If multiple checkbox options are selected prior to submission, the selected options should joined together with a comma to create a single string.

    If you still can't get it to work, let us know here and we'd be glad to check this in depth.

    Thanks!

    We've tried that too, even created a new form and restarted our Salesforce to no avail. Still no leads.

    @medhaniehabte

    Thanks for your prompt reply. We appreciate it.

    On the form you have shared with us, can you mention the field name that you think breaks the integration after you add it to your form? I just can't see any checkbox fields with your form as of this writing.

    Can we also have a look maybe a screenshot if possible of the Salesforce field you're trying to populate the checkbox field from your form?

    What I need to try is to clone your form and integrate it to my Salesforce account and figure out if there's an issue with this and once I replicated the problem, I would definitely address it to our developers to go with the further investigation.

    We'll await your reply here. Regards

    Hello medhaniehabte,

    Thank you for the information.

    As you have already changed your checkbox fields to textbox, have you tried re-integrating your form with your slaesforce account?

    I have cleared your form cache from here and I would suggest you to try and re-integrate with salesforce and see if that helps you. Do you have a enterprise salesforce account?

    We will wait for your response.

    Thank you!

    @medhaniehabte

    In addition to my colleague, from what I have understand you have changed your Jotform fields from checkbox to textbox? Does this also means you have changed your Salesforce fields to textbox?

    I just want to clarify my previous explanation, you can retain your Jotform fields as checkboxes as long as it is map on a textbox field from your Salesforce. Please try doing this and get back to us if the issue persists.

    Thank you so much for your cooperation.

    Greetings again, I finally got it working and running to an extent. However, as I make changes and edits. I notice the data stops populating. I am working from the same computer, could it be because of limitations of forms that are filled or other things?

    Here is an updated form I created

    Hi,

    If you updated/modified your form, it will be applicable also to redo the salesforce integration.

    User Guide: -Flexible-Data-Integration-with-Salesforce

    A clear browser cache should also help clear any lingering cache data that could be causing interruption in your form data on the browser.

    Hope this help. Please inform us if issue persist.

    Thanks!
