Can I limit the answer for a text box?

Is there a way to only accept a certain answer in text box?

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. Do you mean to limit the number of characters allowed on the Short Text Field? If so, you can easily do that through the element's properties. Let me show you how:

• In your Form Builder, select the Short Text field, click on the Gear icon to open its Properties, choose the Options panel, then toggle On the Character Limit option.
• Customize the minimum and maximum characters allowed on the field.

• Also, you could mask the field's content by toggling On the Input Mask option. This way You can specify what characters are to be inserted in that field.
