Form encryption issues

I'm beyond frustrated with the non user friendly JotForm platform. I'm dedicated several hours going through video support, locating an apparent encryption key, we're unable to read respondent's applications, transcription issues and a lot more. Does Jotform offer consultants to assist those lacking in skills to complete necessary work on surveys? And, if consultants are available, what is the hourly charge. Please call me today or email.

Unfortunately, we don’t currently offer live phone support. If you have any questions, just reply to this thread and we can help you out.

Regarding encryption, you will need the same key that was generated when you enabled form encryption on your form.

See this guide for more information on how to handle encrypted forms.

Ok, I'm aware that the encryption key cannot be opened.

I've downloaded it but the download cannot be open--see the earlier image.

I've read the articles and I'M NO FURTHER ALONG AFTER WASTING MORE THAN SIX HOURS TODAY ON WHAT SEEMS LIKE A GLITCH IN THE PROGRAM. IS THERE ANYONE THAT CAN BE USEFUL IN ADDRESSING MY KEY ISSUE?

I’m sorry for the confusion. Are you trying to check the downloaded key? If so, please note that you do not need to open it. Just keep it saved. Then use the downloaded key to access the encrypted form.

Just to be sure that I understand the issue, you are unable to access your form submissions for Sonoma Country Black Forum Financial Assistance Application? If so, please follow the guide below.

1. Please clear your browser cookies/cache on your Mac device.
2. Once done, access your submission table using this link
3. It is going to ask for the encryption key. Please click on Browse Files
4. Your encryption key can be usually found in your downloads folder.
5. Upload it to view your submissions.

Please note that there are features that are not available for Encrypted Forms. Here are the following.

• PDF downloads (PDF document and Fillable PDF Form). You can still view the data in the PDF Editor, but you can only Print it.
• Form Reports (Excel, Grid Listing, HTML Table, RSS, Calendar). CSV download is possible but through Jotform Tables only.
• Form Emails (Notification and Autoresponder).
