Jotform Sign CC Feature Request

This is a feature request for Jotform Sign. Adobe Acrobat Sign already has the feature of CC. These users play no role in the agreement, but they receive the agreement automatically once all recipients who play roles have completed it. Because CC is NOT a role, JotForm should still allow public sharing of documents that are CC'd.

    Hi ssimo3,

Thank you for reaching out to Jotform Support. If we understood your concern correctly, you wanted us to Feature Request to our Developer Team, to allow public sharing of documents that are CC'd for our New App Jotform Sign. Please confirm before we proceed with the request.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with the feature request.

Apparently what I am requesting is already a feature. I just didn't see where the CC option was.

    Hi ssimo3,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform support. Check out the steps and screencast below to see how it's done:

    1. Once you’ve designated your signers and added the appropriate places for them to sign, go to the Send tab.
    2. After you fill in your signers names and emails, but before you click Send to Sign, go to the Options tab.
    3. Type in the emails of the people you’d like to CC where it says Add CC Recipient.

Give it a try and reach out again if you have any other questions.

I would love to see this feature available on the Jotform Sign widget, not just in Jotform Sign proper.

It turns out that what I am requesting is something different. I designed the form at https://www.jotform.com/sign/223424812518049/invite/01gkvxwe8q9620dfa28f374b10. However, if anybody uses that link, it should be another e-mail address that receives any e-mail messages with the subject line "The document is signed successfully!" Of course, the most important thing to recognize is that this link is a public link. If you still don't understand what it is I want to accomplish, then please don't hesitate to ask.

Yes. As a small organization, we do not have the money to subscribe to Jotform Enterprise. Therefore, I can be the only one who creates forms.

As long as a document has only one signer role, it can be posted anywhere on the Web. It can even be embedded. However, when the form is accessed through either of these methods, I will be the only one who ever knows that somebody new has signed the form. The person who actually needs to know is my coworker Nadia at n*****@lsuhsc.edu. When specifying CC, I actually need to send a message to somebody. That means that I need to know beforehand the exact number and identities of those who will sign my form. When sharing the public link, by definition, the sharer does not know exactly who will sign the form.

Why can't I use a classic or card form for this? Because I need users to type their name in a field equipped with the advanced security features of Jotform Sign. Currently, using that widget in the classic or card form, they can only sign by drawing.

    Hi ssimo3,

Thanks for more details and information. While the feature you’re looking for isn’t currently available, rest assured we’re always working to add new services and features to Jotform.

I've gone ahead and escalated your request to our Developer Team. When or if it's developed depends on their workload, how viable it is, and how many other users request it. If there are any updates, we’ll circle back to this thread and let you know.
