Hi there I want to get a timer on my form that activates once a field has been selected. I don't want the timer to start when the page has loaded, only from the moment they start filling out the form.

The situation is I am selling events and I want the timer to start once someone chooses a session! The only timer widget i saw was one that starts the timer when the web page is loaded which is no good. Any help?

    Thanks in advance.

PS_ I know a lot of event type forms do this. I got the idea from Eventbrite and would love to implement into my jotform.

    Hi,

As is now, most the available Timer widgets do start on form load.

A workaround I think that can work to your requirement is to load the form only when you need to start the session.

You can use 2 forms to do this. The first form will be the intro form which when submitted will redirect to the session form. The redirection can be done by assigning the 2nd form URL as the custom URL Thank You page of the intro form.

The Thank You Page Redirect URL of the 1st form should point to the URL of the 2nd form.

What happens now is, when 1st form is submitted, the 2nd form will load.. and session Timer will start.

Hope this help. Tell us if you need further assistance.

    Thanks.
