Google Sheets integration - entries sometimes not being sent

We recently created a new form for our customer to use - the "Mechanic Time Sheet". It is integrated into both Google Drive, to accept the PDFs, and Google Sheets, to accept the form entry data. Sometimes, there is missing data in the Google Sheet for a form submission. We get the PDF in Drive fine, but the corresponding Google Sheet data never gets there.

This presents a problem for the customer - they have processes that depend on both the PDF and its associated data being present, and when this happens, it messes them up and it needs to be rectified manually, taking up time.

So far, it's happened 3 times. These are the submission IDs:

    5557275514189687728

    5557276742321252739

    5558143510014418636

    Hi BCER Forms,

Thanks for reaching out to Jotform Support. I am sorry you are having an issue with this. I've manually pushed the mentioned 3 submissions in your Google Sheets could you please confirm if you have received them? Have you recently edited your Submissions Table or your form? Please note, any edit may break the integration, and might result in the integration not working as intended (submission not syncing with Google Sheet). We kindly suggest you to clear your form's cache, and disconnect then reconnect the integration again to fix this issue.

Reach out to us if you need any more help.

    Hi Harshad,

Thanks for doing that - they still aren't showing up in the Google Sheet, but I was able to download the csv from the Jotform submission table and use that instead.

It's a fresh form and a fresh integration - we did the integration at the last moment so as to avoid any weirdness like this. It's also odd that this issue pops up randomly, and then returns to being fully functional. If the integration broke, wouldn't it just cease to work altogether?

    Thanks,

    Hi BCER Forms,

Thank you for getting back to us. I am sorry you are having trouble with your integrations. If the integration breaks, the forwarding of submissions is the first one that will be affected. But most of the time if you remove the integration and then re-integrate it, it fixes the issue. You can try this method and let us know if the issue still persists.

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with a solution.

    Good afternoon,

We had another instance of form data not being sent to the Google sheet integration. I had created a new integration before this, and as far as I'm aware, the form hadn't been updated.

Just to clarify - does ANY change in the form cause integration issues, or just fields that are being exported? For instance - one of the fields we have is a dropdown of employee names. When the customer hires someone, we update the list to include them. Could this cause an issue?

    Hi BCER Forms,

Thanks for getting back to us. Unfortunately, we do not have any means of knowing which field is causing the issue with the integration. But, if you updated any field in your form, it is recommended that you re-integrate your integrations for the data to sync correctly.

On the other hand, can you provide us with the rest of the Submission IDs of the submissions that are not forwarded to your Google Sheets?

Once we hear back from you, we'll be able to move forward with a solution.

I currently don't have any SubmissionIDs on hand as I no longer have the PDFs themselves, but the next time this happens I will update this thread

    Thanks!
