How to Show Details of Items Being Purchased?

Hi we want to create a form to generate purchase orders

This must be able to calculate the cost of the items being purchased

so we need to put  the description of the item being purchased
The cost of the item the quantity of items ordered and the total cost of these items

eg baked beans 4 at £1.00 x 4 = £4.00  tinned peas at £0.50 x 4 = £2.00

First is it possible for the form or a widget to do this

If so can it be setup to do more then one line or then add all the totals together eg in the case above the totals would be £4.00 + £2.00 = £6.00
