When you use any of the payment fields, it has an option to collect donation/custom amount when you move to the next page. This will add an amount textbox in your payment field where users can enter the amount they want. Is this what you mean with your question?

    Here's how:

Yes, that is what I am talking about.  However, I cannot find Payment Wizard Option as I see in your screenshot, are there any step by step instruction on where to click?  What I did find was Validations and I made the amount field currency.
    Is that sufficient? Art Jackson

    Here's how:

    1. Add a payment field in your form e.g. Paypal

How to add calculations into the form and pass it to Stripe payment field Image 1 Screenshot 60

    2. The payment wizard will automatically open after that, then enter your Paypal information on the first page and then click Next button to move to the second page.

    3. You should see Collect Donations/Custom Amount Payments after that. Select it so a custom amount field will be added in your form after you completed the steps.

If you want to open the Payment Wizard again, just click the payment field then click the magic wand icon beside it.

    Hope this helps!

I will be using Stripe not Pay Pal. I have been trying to do the calculations feature, but I cannot seem to figure out how to do the formula to multiply the sales tax.    Ad Sales * Tax = Total Sales ($100 * 9% = $109.00)

    Hello Art,

Just below PayPal, from the screenshot Elton gave you, you can see Stripe.

In regarding the calculation for payment: First, try to make use of one of your calculation fields to add the Ad amount and the tax to have the total.

Here's what you can do. Add a condition for calculation of the Ad Amount and Tax and let the value appear on Sales Tax field:

How to add calculations into the form and pass it to Stripe payment field Image 1 Screenshot 40

Once that is set, you may utilize the calculation field to collect the summary of sales tax and ad amount:

How to add calculations into the form and pass it to Stripe payment field Image 2 Screenshot 51

Next, add your stripe payment field and proceed to the Payment Options of the wizard.  Select the calculation field which you have set to print the summary of tax and ad amount. This should fill the value of the total amount once the ad amount is filled.

Complete the wizard and save your form.

Once done, your form should function like this: https://form.jotform.com/60951273497969

I appreciate the diagrams but it is still hard for me to follow, is there an instructional video that show this process step by step?
When I clicked on the calculator I do not see how to set the parameters and your diagram does not show what to click on to get to that aspect of the If/then process.

First, you need to create a Calculation wizard that can make a simple calculation like I set it up to do in the animation.

Then you will have to add Stripe payment integration to your form.

How to add calculations into the form and pass it to Stripe payment field Image 1 Screenshot 30

When you finish authorizing stripe for integration you need to set payment option to custom amount/donation.

How to add calculations into the form and pass it to Stripe payment field Image 2 Screenshot 41

As you can see I have set up the stripe payment integration to collect the amount from the Calculation field.

Please take a look at the following guide for form calculations if you need more information.

Let us know if you need further assistance.

Unfortunately, we do not have a video tutorial for it but we have a step by step guide here.

    1. To Perform Calculation in Your Form, follow this guide: http://www.jotform.com/help/259-How-to-perform-calculation-in-the-form

    2. To pass the calculation value into your Stripe payment field here's how: http://www.jotform.com/help/275-How-to-pass-a-calculation-to-a-payment-field

Here's an example form I've created for you https://form.jotform.com/60954611712958. This has simple calculation and then it passes to Stripe amount field. Feel free to clone this form in your account so you can check and figure out the setup.

    Hope this helps!

    Hello,
I am trying to revisit the process again in adding an order form to my website to be integrated with Stripe.
Is it possible to review the following link layout? https://www.jotform.com//?formID=60946369366166
Can you provide a sample on how I can put in the formula to calculate Quote * Sales Tax (which is set at 9%) to give the Total Sales Amount?
Thanks for any help that you can provide.

I have configured calculation fields on your form.

How to add calculations into the form and pass it to Stripe payment field Image 1 Screenshot 30

Now you need to enable the Stripe connection on your form.

Select 'My Products' field > click on a Magic Wand icon > Connect with Stripe button.

How to add calculations into the form and pass it to Stripe payment field Image 2 Screenshot 41

Once you connect the form with your Stripe account, we will be able to configure Stripe tool to accept calculated value as a Total (contact us for this last step).

Thank you so much for your quick response in this matter. As per your instructions, I am letting you know that I have connected the form with my Stripe account. Also, I am curious to know how to add the $ signs to the three field as well as decimal points.  I thought I had selected the 2 digit decimal point option.

    Hello,

To show the dollar sign, modify your conditions which calculates the quote with taxes and add a dollar sign before it

How to add calculations into the form and pass it to Stripe payment field Image 1 Screenshot 30

For your Sales Tax and Total Sale Amount fields to show the decimal values, you can add another condition that shall simply reflect the value on its own but in the advanced options, the Show empty decimal places checked.

Here's an example on the Sales Tax field condition:

How to add calculations into the form and pass it to Stripe payment field Image 2 Screenshot 41

Do the same for the Total Sale Amount field

However, what seems to be difficult to put up a decimal and a dollar sign is on the Quote field. The cursor gets pushed to the end because of the reflected decimal places.

If you have questions please do let us know.

    Thanks.

    Hello,
I am trying to test the form I created on this page.
    http://www.smoothjazzmag.com/information.php?information_id=600
When I hit submit, I get an error message that the month of the credit card is invalid which is not the case, as this is my card and I verified that the month is correct.
    Please advise.

Since your form is currently connected in a Stripe Test Mode you will need to use test card numbers.

You can find test Stripe card numbers here.
