If someone does not complete a form do I have some way to see an "Exception" or that an attempt was made?

If someone does not complete a form do I have some way to see an "Exception" or that an attempt was made?

What if the form is completed and they select "Checkout" (for paypal) are taken to PayPal but don't complete the transaction, will I be notified of the attempt? Adobe forms would send me notices and also save ANY and ALL previously input and attempted transactions...

You can see the "exceptions" or attempts, but please do read on.

    1. If a person starts filling out your form, but does not submit it, their data will not be made available to you. This has some legal reasoning behind it as well, since the person never actually submitted their response, they never gave their consent for providing you with the answers they were entering on the form before abandoning it.

You can see the visits / sessions on your form by checking your Form Analytics, but you will not be able to see the data that was being entered on an abandoned submission:

    2. When it comes to users who submit your payment form and are redirected to PayPal, but do not make a payment, their submissions are temporarily stored as Incomplete Payments:

If the submission remains as an incomplete payment for over 30 days, it gets automatically deleted.

For unsubmitted forms described under (1.), there are no notifications, other that you can manually see the sessions/visits on the analytics page of your form.

For submitted answers described under  (2.), where users never made a payment on Paypal, you can enable the Pending Payment Email for your payment field. To do that, click on the gear-shaped icon of the payment tool, Edit Properties, and set Pending Payment E-mail either no notifiers, or to autoresponders and notifiers, depending on which of your email alerts you want to have triggered on pending submissions:
