I'm afraid I'm not sure what you meant by "transferring a form to a new file".

If you are looking to create a duplicated copy of your form, we refer to that as "cloning a form", and the following guide explains how:

    https://www.jotform.com/help/27-How-to-clone-an-existing-form-from-your-account

If you are looking to create a new PDF file from your form, so that you can send out an actual file to your users to fill it out, you can follow this guide:

    https://www.jotform.com/help/212-How-to-Create-a-PDF-Form

If you were referring to something else instead, please provide some more information about what it is you are trying to achieve, and we'll be most happy to help out. Cheers
