Thank you messages keep triggering spam filters.

    Hi,

I have a form set up for a client but the thank you messages keep triggering the clients spam filters and blocking the thank you messages from going through. Not always but sometimes and it seems to be increasing.

I suggested the list of domains to their IT person but they weren't happy to white list them as they felt it was opening up a hole in their security. They have suggested the reason the spam filter is being triggered is because each thank you message is coming from a different email address - even though I have it set up as to come from:-

    noreply@jotform.com

I asked their IT dept to send me a screen shot of the email addresses that are showing and I received the attached. Does Jotform mask the noreply@jotform address into something different behind the scenes and therefore IT systems have difficult in processing this.

    Any advice would be appreciated.

Unfortunately, to make sure that the emails are not treated as spam, they will need to add jotform's addresses to their whitelist. I see you have set the sender email as noreply@jotform.com, so it should be sending on this email address.

Perhaps you can try changing it to noreply@formresponse.com to see if it is still marked as spam by your user's spam filter. Alternatively, you can also use your own email address as the sender email using SMTP. Here's a guide on How to Setup SMTP for a Form.

If the issue still persists, please let us know.
    Regards.
