Resize PDF in autoresponder emailAsked by StanfordWhiteAwards on September 23, 2016 at 05:27 PM
Is there a way to compress PDF files that are included in autoresponder emails? I would like to include a copy of the users submission, but the PDF filed are too large to be sent via email. Please advise.
Unfortunately, it is not possible to compress PDF file attached to the email. However, you may consider editing the PDF submission report from the submissions view so that you may remove the fields that are not required in the PDF.
Please give it a try and let us know if you need any further assistance. We will be happy to assist.
Is it possible to send a PDF of the form text only and omit photo attachments? Is this a feature we can set up automatically or would this have to be done manually each time?
I believe the suggested solution of my colleague will work, what the "Customize PDF" does is it creates a PDF template for your PDF submissions on that specific form. So if you remove the fields or images on the template/layout, then all the PDF submissions including the one attached in the autoresponder will not have images. To learn more about this feature, please check this guide: https://www.jotform.com/help/384-How-to-Customize-PDF-Submissions-Report
I hope that helps.
