Hi I have created a new api key and have cut and paste it into the integration screen and it isnt accepting the API key.
If you help point me in the right direction on this please.

I suggest you check this guide on how to properly integration JotForm with MailChimp.
So far upon checking, the MailChimp Integration is working just fine.

That's really strange as it isn't authenticating the API key my side so I can proceed any further

May I know what browser are you using? It is possible that your browser are not allowing any pop-ups. If you have a browser add-on or extension that blocks pop-up scripts like AdBlock, you might want to disable them for the meantime.
If it is still the same, please try using another browser just to check if it will work or not.
