How can I prevent conditional logic from being updated in all duplicated questions?

I want users to answer a Y/N question, and based on the answer, they will either have to answer follow up questions or move to the next set of questions. I setup conditional logic on this initial Y/N question and duplicated the question across multiple pages because it's the same question, just regarding a different process (i.e. Does Process 1 apply to your department?; Does Process 2...? etc).

The issue I'm running into is that the conditional logic I configure also gets duplicated across the duplicated questions, e.g. questions 8 and 17 are the same Y/N question, just for a different process, but when I update question 8 logic, it also updates question 17 logic so it doesn't make sense for question 17. And when I update question 17 logic, it updates question 8 logic.

If you duplicate the fields with the Manage Multiple Fields tool, please make sure that the Duplicate Conditions option is not selected.

When the field is duplicated with the context menu, the conditions are not duplicated.

Thank you for showing me that. I just tested it out (deleting out all questions that were duplicated and recreating the original to duplicate with the method you laid out), and it still appears to be updating the duplicate questions if I only update one.
