How RockTape Gets a Marketing Boost Using Jotform

You don’t have to be a serious athlete to find the usefulness in kinesiology tape. Stefano Scalia, marketing director at California-based RockTape, says his company’s famous tape is used by everyone from Olympians to people who need better posture while working at a desk. In other words, if your body needs help moving the proper way, regardless of the activity, RockTape can help.

The most important customers to RockTape, however, are medical professionals. Massage therapists, physical therapists, chiropractors, athletic trainers, and even acupuncturists make up a group that’s critical to RockTape’s success. They’re the ones who administer RockTape’s products to patients who need it the most. Those same patients in turn often become RockTape customers themselves.

As a result, the company offers special pricing to medical professionals so that they can affordably treat their patients. But qualifying a medical professional requires quite a bit of additional information beyond the practice’s name and address. Do they have a medical license number? Have they completed a RockTape educational course? Do they have comments or additional questions about the process? 

What RockTape needed was a powerful form to collect all of the necessary information. And that’s where Jotform comes in. 

Medical professionals navigating the RockTape site easily find an embedded, custom-designed Jotform application form where they can enter all of their information. It acts as both an application form, as well as a lead generation form. And that’s not the only place Jotform shows up on the RockTape site. The company also uses Jotform for their general contact form (which has received tens of thousands of responses), athlete registration, and application to become a RockTape dealer.

Stefano, who is no stranger to web design himself, uses Jotform over a simple PHP form because of the customization, built-in integrations, added security, and additional features like conditional logic and analytics. 

When the time comes to discuss marketing performance with his CEO, he uses Jotform’s Form Analytics to give a detailed report about which forms perform the best. Sometimes the same form will be duplicated across multiple campaigns, and Form Analytics is able to tell him which campaign helped drive the most business.
