Reporting tools do not meet my expectations

    Reporting tools suck!

Your Report tools SUCK! I have spent about 40 hours creating a form for a specific use for a fortune 100 company and now after it is all done I can't print out the information that is needed in the format it is needed.  I need to be able to save a few different reports in specific formats for printing paper copies.

    1. We need to be able to re-size columns and re-position columns

    2. We need to be able to filter the results

    3. We need to be able to save the exactly formatted report

    4. We need to be able to then print this multi-page report

The closest work-around is to export to excel then manipulate the data within excel and then print. BUT, one reason that won't work is because one of the fields is an e-signature capture field. When this field is exported to excel it shows it as a URL instead of the actual image of the signature. We must be able to show the image on the printed report.

The other stupid thing is that grid and html reports and tables within the visual report builder will not print any of the data (columns, etc) that are wider than a page. It won't shrink to fit or print to multiple pages.

With all the different types of reports (grid, html, visual, etc) you'd think I could format and print my data, but nope.

Sorry if I sound ticked off - I am - been up til 4am the past 3 days trying to find work arounds and realizing I just wasted my time due to a 'feature' that I would think is very basic, not existing in JF.

I hope I have overlooked a solution and that you can offer me one.

I see that you have already contacted us regarding these issues and multiple feature requests were added to our system. This is not likely that escalated requests can be implemented in the nearest time, but if we have any updates we will let you know.

If you use a Grid Listing report you may try an 'Auto-Fit Grid report to window.' option.

The submissions can be also downloaded in a PDF format, and original web form format one by one using this workaround.
