How can I setup a recurring payment subscription for my Wix website

    Hi guys,

I currently offer an online academy via Teachery.com. I'd like to just host that academy on my own website. I see that you all allow subscription options now for the forms.

Can you please talk through with me how I could manage an online academy, subscription based, via my Wix website?

I would love it if you could walk me through this so that if a member's card didn't go through or if they canceled, they would no longer have access to the academy.

    Thanks much,

    Diane

Hello Diane - First, you need to decide which payment gateway to use. Here's a complete list of all payment processors we integrate with: https://apps.jotform.com/category/payment_processing

If all you need is some sort of Payment Authorization (e.g. charge your users at a later date), then your choices would be limited to Stripe, Paypal or Authorize.net.

In case you're not sure which one will work for you, I recommend reading this article: Which-Payment-Processor-is-Right-for-Your-Business

Once you're decided on which one to use, setup your payment field by following our guide on How-to-Setup-a-Recurring-Payment-Option.

Now, for the Wix part, this was covered in the detailed guide I'm linking below. All our guides are well documented and accompanied with screenshots so please give these a shot and let us know if you see any issues along the way. You can always open separate threads for different questions/topics.

This part I'm afraid has to be done from your website's backend. AFAIK, you can't access the actual backend codes in a Wix-powered website but it offers a members-only page. You should take advantage of this feature (although this is now beyond our scope of support). To help you out, here's an article I found online from their support pages.
