however, when it calculates the values of the section it comes up as 123 not the totals for the items chosen.

I have checked your form and I could not find the calculation widget, but I would recommend you to add calculation values to your fields so the number is passed over instead of the text, please check the following guides that will also help you:

Thanks for your response. However, I have added the item you said I omitted and still all I get is 123 in the total portion. SO frustrating!!!! Please advise. Can't I call someone and have them walk me through this!

I have now checked your form and I can see you have added a calculation widget and you're already performing some calculations, I have checked some options and I can see the calculation works fine:
I have already cleared your forms cache in case the form is not showing this update for you.
