We would like more info on using your site for our event

Good morning. I work for the Coconino County Public Health Services District in Flagstaff, AZ. The event we are planning is a 4 month-long physical activity incentive program that encourages teams, county-wide, to stay active during the winter months. I am curious about using your site for our event registration and would like to know if we can include everything and for how much.

    Hello Samantha,

Unfortunately, you have not provided any exact criteria as to what you need to implement on your form. But, I can suggest to look at our templates: https://www.jotform.com/form-templates/category/event-registration

Also, I would like to mention new layout for the forms: Cards-or-Classic-Which-One-Should-I-Use. Card templates are here: https://www.jotform.com/form-templates/category/event-registration

If you need any further assistance on form development or other questions, please get back to us.

    Thank you.

Thank you so much for your response! So quickly, the abilities we would require include:

Registration of participants (including Name, Team leader, team name, worksite, Email address, identifying either adult/youth, gender, if employed by subsidizing company, etc.) Posting information (including, open to ages 6 and up, events are coed, Spaces: Unlimited Openings, Registration dates (TDB), Description of Aerobic Winter Challenge, Event dates (TBD), Link to more information) Pay for the entry fee. There needs to be 2 options. General one-time fee is $10, but there are some employers that offer a subsidized fee of $5, so we would need either a discount code or 2 ticket options We would like to incorporate our sponsor’s ads T-shirt/sweatshirt order (for additional $ purchase) CCPHSD Terms of agreement checkbox If possible, for multiple team members to be registered by a team leader in one transaction We have the option for using a county PayPal account (so a connection to that account), but are open to payment collection directly through the site, depending on cost. A way to export attendee information. We are expecting many participants to register on paper, so we need a way to consolidate all information.

I have been given the task of finding what will fit best for our event. If this is something that we could potentially move forward with, I would like to pass this option along to my program manager. Thank you so much for your time!

Yes, all your requirements seem to be possible to implement with JotForm. I will try to provide you several guides related to the questions you asked.

We do have variety of form elements, which would help to collect said information: How-to-Create-Your-First-Web-Form

I recommend to implement calculations on your form and then pass calculated total into payment processor integration. Here is a guide: How-to-Pass-a-Calculation-to-a-Payment-Field

Just in case you'll need to set up conditional logic to calculate the total, here are another guides:

    Smart-Forms-Using-Conditional-Logic

    How-to-Insert-Text-or-Calculation-into-a-Field-Using-Conditional-Logic

We have the option for using a county PayPal account (so a connection to that account), but are open to payment collection directly through the site, depending on cost.

As you have mentioned PayPal as preferable payment processor, I suggest to take a look at our available integration: How-to-Integrate-Form-with-Paypal-Standard-

If you need to charge credit cards with PayPal directly through the form, we do have an option for that too - PayPal Pro integration: Difference-Between-PayPal-and-PayPal-Pro

As you need to collect payments with jotforms, I would like to advise to check our payments limits for subscription plans: https://www.jotform.com/pricing

A way to export attendee information. We are expecting many participants to register on paper, so we need a way to consolidate all information.

There are several options to download form submissions: How-to-Download-Form-Submissions-as-Excel-CSV-PDF

Perhaps, it will be also useful if I mention Google Spreadsheets integration: How-to-Integrate-Forms-with-Google-Sheets

We are always glad to assist if you need further help on any step of developing your form, just let us know.

    Thank you!
